Announcements 4-1-15
TODAY:
- Congrats to the HS BSB Team on their win last night!
- NHS is collecting toys (new or used-stuffed animals are great!) for the SOMO track meet on April 18th from March 9th- April 10th. We will be collecting toys to give as prizes to the participants. The class who collects the most POUNDS of toys will receive a special treat! Put toys in boxes by office.
- Any Sophomores or Juniors who plan to attend Vo-Tech next year need to talk to Mr. Wray and fill out an application by TOMORROW.
- All students trying out for cheerleader or mascot need to be sure to have their complete paperwork handed in to Ms. Norgart by April 8.
- Orange “Preslee Power” bracelets are available for $5 if you are interested, see Tristan Freemyer.
- NHS Documentation for membership consideration is due to Mrs. Holthaus no later than TOMORROW at 3:00 P.M. Please make sure you have your forms completed to the best of your knowledge and that you submit all letters of reference in sealed envelopes.
- Reminder to students: return Chromebooks at end of each day you use them. There are two Chromebooks missing, if you have them, turn them in!
- All After Prom permission slips are due by 3 pm on Thursday, April 9. This includes all dates and prom servers.
- Large Group Music Contest @ NW: Band leaves Friday, April 10th at 12:15pm-Perform at 3:20-Sightread at 3:40.
- FFA District Contest
- HS BSB SN vs. Mid Buch Home 4:30 pm, bus leaves at 3:20 pm.
- FCA meeting 1st lunch shift in the music room, bring your lunch.
- NO Vo-Tech April 3rd, 6th or 7th.
- Seniors: Robes need to be here by TOMORROW in order for them to be steamed for the picture next WEDNESDAY! Also, take home your picture order forms! They are due on the 8th! Please remember to wear nice shoes for the pictures.
- Seniors: Nodaway News Leader surveys are due on April 8th, turn into Miss Christensen. See Miss Christensen if you need one.
Thursday:
- Choir Practice 7:30 am
- FCA devotional 7:45 am in the library.
- High school scholar bowl practice at 7 am in the math room.
- HS/JH Track at N. Andrew 4 pm, bus leaves at 2:50 pm.
- HS Boys BB meeting 2nd lunch shift in Mr. Skoglund’s room.
Friday:

Monday:

Tuesday:
- NO SCHOOL
- HS Track at Albany 3 pm, bus leaves at 1:10 pm.
- HS BSB SN vs. Tarkio Away 4:30 pm, bus leaves at 2:40 pm.
OTHER:
- High School Track practice 3:30 to 5 pm (unless otherwise specified), bus will leave SN at 3:10 sharp. Please release the following students at 3 pm for practice each day: Sydney H, Kristen, Mallory, Meaghan, Michael, Carmen, Savannah, Logan H, Shelby H, Alex, Elizabeth, Marissa, Grady, Ean and Katelyn.
- We now have three NW students who are willing to come and tutor before and after school in all subjects. We have one Mon and Wed mornings 7:15-8:00, and two after school until 4:00 on Tue and Thur. Please take advantage of this opportunity to get extra help!
- Guilford Community Center is now accepting bids for mowing. Please have bids in by April 1, 2015. Mail to: PO Box 82, Guilford, Mo 64457.
