Announcements 8-26-16

TODAY:

  1. Congrats to the HS SB Girls on their win last night!
  2. The following need to turn in their Activity/Internet/Handbook Agreements: Devanna, Mason, Johnathan K, Selicity, Jaiden, Sarah B and Hannah K.
  3. The following need to turn in their Student Activity Permission Forms: Erin C, Cole H, Johnathan K, Hannah K.
  4. Students: Remember that when you get breakfast, you must go in through the cafeteria so the teacher can mark you down for eating breakfast.
  5. ATTENTION: JH/HS Students are not allowed to be at the school before 7:30 am. Cannot go to breakfast until 7:40 am.
  6. Robotics Club: There will be an organizational and planning meeting of the Robotics Club this Saturday, August 27th from 10 am – 12 pm at Mr. Nelson’s house in Conception (33357 Noble Road, 1/3 miles south of Hwy VV). Anyone interested in joining the team this year or who wants to learn more about us, please come. Folks in Barnard or points south, should contact Mr. Ross about sharing a ride.  (Mrs. Ross #816-522-4383)
  7. FFA Bar-B-Que  & Water Olympics Sept. 11th 3-7 pm.

  4. Stand: Set Up- Meaghan/Mallory  Selling 1st- Caleb/Cory  Selling 2nd- Baylee/Clayton  Clean Up- Ashton/Emily

  6. Stu Co meeting during lunch in Mrs. McConkey’s room, bring your lunch.
  7. Spirit Stick winner for this next week is Quentin Murphy.

Saturday:

  1. HS Girls SB Cameron Tournament, bus leaves Jefferson at 6 am.

Monday:

  1. National FFA Officer visit 9 am
  2. Practice Bus: V & JH FB & V & JH SB, (Bob’s) bus leaves at 3:10 pm.
  3. Junior meeting during lunch in Ms. Helzer’s room, bring your lunch.
  4. Senior meeting during lunch in Mrs. McCreath’s room, bring you lunch.
  5. Cheer practice: 6:45-7:30 AM

Tuesday:

  1. Jostens returns during lunch for orders: class rings, caps, tassels, etc. $60 deposit, checks made out to Jostens or School Traditions.
  2. Practice Bus: V & JH FB &  JH SB, (Bob’s) bus leaves at 3:10 pm.
  3. HS CC at Maryville 4:15 pm. Van leaves at 2:50 pm, release students at 2:40 pm.
  4. HS Girls SB vs. Stewartsville Away 5 pm. Jefferson will pick up at SN.
  5. Cheer practice: 6:45-7:30 AM

Wednesday:

  1. Cheer practice: 6:45-7:30 AM

Thursday:

  1. Junior class meeting 2nd lunch shift in Ms. Helzer’s room.
  2. Neff rep here during lunch for letter jackets. Make checks payable to South Nodaway.
  3. JH/HS Girls SB vs. N. Nodaway JH/V/JV Away, bus leaves at 2:30 pm, release students at 2:20 pm.
  4. Practice/Game Bus: JH FB 3:10 pm.
  5. PTO meeting 6:30 pm
  6. Cheer practice: 6:45-7:30 AM
