Announcements 10-20-16

October 20, 2016

TODAY:

  1. Senior Composite retakes are November 15th. Please let Sonya know by Nov. 4th if you want retakes. A $15.00 sitting fee is required.
  1. TIME CHANGE: FFA meeting October 26th at 5:30 pm in the Ag room. All members attend.
  1. The following need to pick up and pay for their Powder Puff shirt: Alyson, Katelyn, Jenna, Layla, Jaiden, Dolores and Tristan. 
  1. Platte Valley shirt order forms available in the office. Turn forms into Tabitha with payment.
  1. Seniors are needing an extra Sponsor to go with them this Saturday to work the food stands at Worlds of Fun. Leaving at 1:45 pm and return around 2 am. Please let us know ASAP.
  2. Please get your A+ handbooks into Mr. Murphy ASAP-primarily Freshmen.
  3. Nat’l FFA Convention
  1. Prof. Dev/No School
  2. Parent/Teacher’s Conference 12:30-7 pm
  3. Flu shots for children with parents 3:30 pm. They can bill BC/BS, Coventry, United, UMR, Medicare, Medicaid thru 18 years old, CORE Source/Freedom Network; otherwise the cost is $20. 
  4. HS CC W. Nodaway Invitational at NWMSU 5pm
  5. TIME CHANGE: JH BB vs. Albany Away 4:30 pm, bus leaves at 3:05 pm
  6. HS SB girls are on their way to STATE!!

 

Friday:

  1. Nat’l FFA Convention
  2. State SB: Platte Valley vs. Clopton 10 am
  3. HS FB Playoffs at St. Joe Christian: Platte Valley vs. St Joe Christian 7 pm.
  4. NO SCHOOL

 

Saturday:

  1. All Dist. Choir Clinic/All State Auditions: leave at 6:30 am. Concert at Platte County High School at 5 pm.
  2. State Softball
  3. Seniors work at WOF, leave 1:45 pm, and return around 2 am. Dress appropriately, and bring at least $5 for supper. 

 

Monday:

  1. Sophomore fundraiser begins
  2. Yearbook Ad Sales
  3. JH BB vs. Mound City at Jefferson 6 pm, bus leaves at 5 pm.
  4. JH/HS Cheer practice 6:30 – 7:15 am.
  5. JH and HS cheer practice 6:30 am to 7:15 am to practice routine to video tape for state application. 

 

Tuesday:

  1. JH Scholar Bowl practice after school until 4 pm.
  2. JH BB vs. N. Andrew Away 5:30 pm, Jefferson pick up at Barnard around 5:00 pm

 

Wednesday:

  1. FFA Chapter Meeting 5:30 pm
  2. Powder Puff Game 7:30 pm
