FFA - National Convention
Eleven students from South Nodaway recently spent four days on a trip to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, IN. On the trip there they toured the Lincoln Museum in Springfield, IL. Other tours included a honey bee farm, NCAA Hall of Champions, Indianapolis Speedway, the National FFA Center, and the Mark Twain Caves. For entertainment they saw Cole Swindell and Chris Young in concert as well as attended a Jim Wand hypnotist show. In addition they attended National FFA Convention sessions and the National FFA Career Expo. Two South Nodaway FFA Alumni, Jimmy Carter and Kristen Nielson, were awarded the American FFA Degree, the highest award the National FFA Organization can bestow upon its members.
